About casa.bo
casa.bo is an independent property platform in Bolivia. We started in Santa Cruz de la Sierra with two goals: to study the real estate market with data, and to make finding a property fast and simple.
We're not a real estate agency and we don't belong to one. We work with agents who post properties from their network or agency here: we use those listings to calculate prices and medians, and you find what you're looking for in one place.
How it works

- 2. You message the agentEach listing says which agent posts it. You message them on WhatsApp or call, and a person answers.
- 3. With you all the way to the signingThe agent arranges viewings and stays with you until signing.
Where the listings come from
They're posted by real estate agents who work with casa.bo, with properties from their network or agency. Each listing says which agent posts it: that's who you talk to if you're interested in the property.
The text and photos in each listing belong to the agent or their agency, not to casa.bo. We format the description so it reads clearly and cover up other agents' phone numbers in the photos. The English text of each listing is our translation of its Spanish text.
casa.bo doesn't sell, rent or offer anticrético: it's where agents post. Every deal is between you, the agent and the owner. We explain it in the terms and conditions.
Our data
Every number on the site comes from active listings and is recalculated every day. Each figure says how many listings it's based on.
| What we measure | How we calculate it |

| Listings | The properties posted and active today on casa.bo. The list is updated every day. |
| Median price | The middle value among listings of the same type, operation and area: half ask less and half ask more. We use the median, not the average, so one very expensive listing doesn't move the number. |
| Price per m² | The price divided by the published built area; for lots, by the land area. Only listings that publish an area are included, so their base is smaller. |
| Price range | From the 5th to the 95th percentile, to leave out the extremes. |
| Median rent | The published monthly rent, without maintenance fees. Maintenance fees are shown separately on each listing. |
| Currencies | Each listing shows its price in the currency it was posted in. To calculate medians and sort by price we convert at the market exchange rate, the same for all listings. |
What we leave out
- Listings with no price: shown as “Price on request” and left out of the medians.
- Impossible or mistyped areas, like a whole building's area posted as if it were an apartment's.
- Groups with fewer than 3 listings: we show “—” instead of a shaky median.
- Properties sold, rented or paused: they leave searches and calculations the next day.
