Today you can get there easily by two routes: the Foianini bridge to the north, which connects directly with Avenida San Martín in Equipetrol.
The second route is the new bridge built by investors in the Urubó Village community, which connects directly with Avenida Roca y Coronado, on the west side of the city of Santa Cruz.
Who it suits
It's chosen by families looking for a large house with a garden, green space and security, and by people buying a lot to build exactly what they want. There are also more and more apartment buildings for those who want to live in Urubó without maintaining a house.
Living in Urubó means living in nature with a connection to the city.
Services and schools
Almost all of the gated communities have private security at the gatehouse, green areas and shared spaces.
As more families started living in these communities, new businesses began opening around them, such as small markets, restaurants and schools.
For a lot of other shopping and paperwork, you still cross into the city.
Safety
If you're looking for a house in a gated community, the norm is: access control, guards, maintenance fees and community rules.
If you're looking for a lot or a house outside a gated community, the small communities in Porongo are generally very quiet, such as Buen Retiro, Villa Bonita and others.
